The Iconic Photos
And the man who grew up in the Brentwood pad shared with The Post rare photos of star Will Smith on the day the actor filmed the iconic opening to the hit 1990s TV show.
Sasha Rahban was just 9 when his childhood home was turned into a Hollywood set and he posed beside Smith as the actor shot the sitcom that would launch him into mega-stardom.

Memories of the Filming
“All we knew was that Will Smith was a rapper, we were excited, my mom took me out of school that day to watch them film the open. We didn’t know what to expect.” Rahban, 44, told The Post on Tuesday.
They wouldn’t know the impact of that day until a few years later. After the birth of the Internet, the Rahban family’s house was available with just the click of a mouse, and the tour buses started stopping in front of the gates daily.
“It was a trip,” he recalled.

Now, Rahban is an LA real estate partner with celebrity brokers Matt and Josh Altman, who have listed the house for nearly $30 million.
He spilled secrets about the famed estate, which notably is actually located not in Bel Air, but in Brentwood.
Rahban’s parents bought the 10,000 square foot home in 1978 and it was a playground for him and his siblings for years.
Hollywood came knocking so many times that the home had its own agent.

“It was cast as Elvis’ Graceland once, Jason Bateman shot a movie here called ‘Moving Target’, and Jacqueline Bissett was in a TV show here.”
Prince Harry even stopped by in a spoof with James Cordon, where the two were searching for a house in Los Angeles for a “Prince” to live in. “He had to use the bathroom in our house.” Rahban said.
He also had a front row seat for the famed OJ Simpson Bronco chase.

“OJ’s house was nearby, so we were able to run down the street and see him go by.”
The House Today
Despite the memories, it’s time to move on. The listing officially goes live Tuesday.
The six bedroom palace, originally built in 1937 features a “maids quarters, an incredible backyard, and a swimming pool.” says Rahban.
