Texas Ranch Properties: Latest Updates and Listings
A chef who was a semifinalist for a James Beard Award wants North Texas buyers to take a look at her Coleman County ranch. The family of a Dude Perfect star has listed their ranch just west of Fort Worth. A huge ranch near Mineral Wells has sold to an Oklahoma ranching family. Here’s the latest on a few Texas ranch properties:
Dude Perfect Co-Founder’s Family Lists Ranch
A ranch west of Fort Worth with ties to the co-founder of Frisco-based sports entertainment group Dude Perfect has hit the market. The roughly 450-acre Canyon Lake Ranch (770 Sand Lane) in Santo belongs to the family of Dude Perfect’s Tyler Toney.
The asking price for the Palo Pinto County ranch is $8.49 million, and the listing is held by Josh Smith of Texas Land. Jeff Toney, Tyler’s father, told The Dallas Morning News that the family purchased the ranch in 2015 when it was mostly raw, overgrown land. The family spent the last decade making improvements.
The property includes a hilltop luxury home, a guest house, a nine-hole putting and chipping green, as well as a 5-acre bass fishing lake equipped with a boat dock, bait shack and an outdoor pavilion. The main home is more than 4,200 square feet. The seven-bedroom house has six full bathrooms and two half baths. It was built in 2016.

The property is a getaway and a place to unwind for the family, Toney said, a place to enjoy coffee while looking out over the lake before riding around the land. The uniqueness of the landscape makes the property feel like three different ranches, he said.
Hunters can find whitetail deer, turkeys, feral pigs, mallards, wood ducks, gadwall, wigeon, teal, canvasback and other migratory bird species. Those who fish aren’t left out either. The ranch has multiple ponds stocked with largemouth bass exceeding 5 lbs., catfish, perch and others.
Rancho Loma Hits the Market for the First Time
Chef and 2020 James Beard Award semifinalist Laurie Williamson and business partner Robert Williamson are listing their Rancho Loma property in Coleman County for the first time publicly. The asking price for the property is just under $3.5 million, said listing agent Colton Harbert of Capitol Ranch Real Estate.
The duo bought the 1870s ranch (2969 County Road 422, Talpa) in 1998 and opened its small dining room in 2003. The ranch built a following. Its tables were booked with regulars from Abilene, San Angelo and Brownwood, along with repeat visitors from Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin and Houston.
Rancho Loma is on the market publicly for the first time. The asking price is just under $3.5 million.

It’s earned accolades from outlets like Texas Monthly and Southern Living. The $3.5 million includes all 309 acres of the West Texas ranch, but doesn’t include the Rancho Loma name. Chef Williamson is available to “consult or guest chef” if the new buyers wish to continue the dining operations, Harbert said.
Oklahoma Ranch Family Buys Palo Pinto Ranches
The K6+ ranch in Palo Pinto County changed hands late last year, and an Oklahoma ranching family is expanding its North Texas holdings. The sales price for the roughly 870-acre property just north of Mineral Wells wasn’t disclosed. The ranch was previously listed for nearly $19.9 million. Hall and Hall broker Brett Grier listed the property.
The seller, real estate developer Chad Krippner, purchased the property in 2022. He spent the last few years adding equestrian facilities, a pickleball court and a 5,200-square-foot timber frame home to the property. Amenities of note include a resort-style infinity pool, outdoor kitchen, living area, guest quarters, coastal hay production and 19 ponds, according to the listing.
