Around 8 a.m. Thursday at a Walmart in Dallas, the store’s area for bottled water had some gaping floor space, but large pallets full of replenishment were making their way to the area. The shelves for bread showed some empty spots, though many options remained, while milk appeared to be in good supply.
Alejandra Hurtado and Uriel Cardoso were among those shopping at the Walmart on Thursday. They were able to find what they needed as they stood near their cart that included bottled water and turkey.

The store’s water area was largely stocked though there were many empty shelves for milk and some cheese options thinned out. The meat section was relatively full, with many boxes being opened to more fully stock the area.
A Tom Thumb in Dallas displayed some empty areas for bottled water, though some options remained, while a Kroger further south showed bare spots for water and some empty shelves for beef.
Eggs were limited at a Market Street in Plano, along with thinner options for meat and some bottled water on Thursday morning. But there was plenty of milk.
