A Long-Time Fan
Her love for Herrera’s goes back to the ’70s, when she used to eat at the original restaurant as a student at Southern Methodist University. Another Herrera’s, on Sylvan Avenue in West Dallas, was open from 2014 to 2022.
“I’m not counting them out yet,” Busbee said of the family behind Herrera’s on Harry Hines. “I’m obviously a big fan and I want to see them resurrect it again.”
