Salad and Go will close all remaining locations in Texas and Oklahoma, which includes the 25 locations still operating in North Texas and the seven in Oklahoma, according to The Phoenix Business Journal. The Coppell-based company will also shutter its commissary facility and shifts its headquarters out of Dallas-Fort Worth.

All the stores in Texas and Oklahoma will close on Sunday, Jan. 11.
The closure comes after an announcement in September that the brand would close 41 locations in Texas and Oklahoma. That figure included 18 stores in D-FW, along with all locations in Houston, San Antonio and Austin.
Only Salad and Go locations in Arizona and Nevada will stay open.
Impact on Employees
The company will also move its headquarters from Coppell, back to Phoenix, CEO Mike Tattersfield told the Business Journal.
The closures in Texas and Oklahoma will impact around 600 employees.
Reasons Behind the Closure
Tattersfield said that the “economic burden” faced by the company came from the large kitchen in Dallas and the company’s expansion plan. He told the Business Journal the brand’s aggressive growth in the past years was based on a flawed business plan, but he expects it to be successful again.
“By consolidating our operations at our Phoenix area headquarters, we can focus on what matters most: food quality, menu innovation, guest experience, and building for long-term growth,” Tattersfield said.
Future Plans
Salad and Go’s corporate team will return to a former office in Phoenix, the CEO said, but they hope to open a larger office in the coming months.
The salad concept was known for its sub-$10 salads, wraps, and other affordable options, as well as its drive-through.
Salad and Go had 146 locations at the end of 2024, and now will only have 70 remaining in two states.
