New Michelin Star Awards
Kasama, formerly a one star Michelin-rated restaurant, earned a second star, organizers shared at Tuesday’s Michelin Guide Northeast Cities Ceremony. The Filipino bakery and restaurant, at 1001 N. Winchester Ave., which frequently draws lines around the block, joins Ever and Oriole as Chicago’s two-star rated spots, along with Alinea, which recently went down from three stars to two.
Feld’s First Michelin Star
Feld, a tasting-menu restaurant in Ukrainian Village that opened in 2024, was honored with its first Michelin star at Tuesday’s ceremony. It also earned a "Green" star in the Michelin Guide, which is awarded to restaurants that combine culinary excellence with initiatives to reduce their environmental impact.
Green Star Award
Feld joins Daises, in Logan Square, as the only two restaurants in the city to have earned a Green Star. Feld now joins 14 other one star-rated restaurants in the city.
