Two Accused of Beating, Robbing Victim at Joliet Apartment Complex
Charges Filed Against Deon Tillman and Anasia Williams
A 28-year-old Joliet resident and a 23-year-old Crest Hill resident have been charged with felony offenses related to an alleged beating and robbery at an apartment complex in Joliet, Illinois.

According to police, the incident occurred on January 4 around 12:30 a.m. at the 100 block of North Hickory Street, where the victim, a male whose age was not disclosed, was allegedly assaulted by Deon Tillman and Anasia Williams.

Police reported that the victim entered the building to escort a female acquaintance to her apartment, but once inside, Tillman and Williams confronted the victim, allegedly punching and kicking him while forcing him to the ground. The duo then stole his wallet, containing cash and credit cards.
Victim Refuses Medical Attention
The victim sustained injuries during the alleged attack, but refused medical attention at the scene.
Unauthorized Purchases Made
Authorities stated that shortly after the robbery, unauthorized purchases were made using the victim’s credit card at a nearby gas station and restaurant.

Tillman was taken into custody just before 5 p.m. on Monday while walking near Division Street and North Broadway Street. At the time of his arrest, he was wearing an ankle monitor due to his prior arrest.
