Manhattan cops are investigating a shooting outside a Lower East Side pizzeria on Sunday afternoon that left a man wounded.

Blood was left smeared inside and outside of 99 Cent Pizza located at 156 Delancey St., and spectators were left shocked, after gunfire erupted at 4:10 p.m. on June 1, cops said.
\nWhile the motive for the shooting is not yet clear, police report that a 28-year-old man was standing outside of the pizzeria when he was shot in the upper right thigh.

\u201cI heard a scream and a gunshot. Just one gunshot,\u201d a nearby store worker told amNewYork.
\nAuthorities say the victim was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he is expected to survive.
\n\u201cI saw him on the stretcher, he looked dazed \u2014 he looked young,\u201d said a female eyewitness who did not want to be identified.
