Ransomware Attack Forces Closure of Hoboken City Hall
City Hall Closed, Online Services Suspended
Hoboken’s city government was the victim of a ransomware attack on Wednesday, forcing the closure of City Hall and the suspension of some services. The police department is working with city leaders and the IT department to investigate the attack and restore services safely.

As a result of the attack, the following services have been impacted:
- Municipal Court: Closed for the day
- Street Sweeping: Suspended until further notice
Essential Services Continue
However, some essential services will continue as scheduled:
- Parking Regulations: Will operate as usual
- Waste Collection: Will continue as normal
- Recreation Programs: Will proceed as planned
