One of the shots struck 57-year-old Kevin Jennings, a resident of College Avenue in the Bronx, in the head as he sat on his walker outside the location. He was pronounced dead a short time later at St. Barnabas Hospital.

A second stray bullet hit a 34-year-old woman in her left leg. EMS rushed her to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
It was the second deadly stray bullet shooting to hit the Bronx in less than a week. On May 12, 16-year-old Evette Jeffrey lost her life when a 14-year-old male gunman fired rounds during what police called a “schoolyard fight” near the Bronx College and Career Preparatory High School.
