Off the Beaten Path: Women’s History Month Art Exhibit

About the Exhibit

The YWCA NorthEastern New York is proud to present an art show in celebration of Women’s History Month. The free exhibit runs from March 1-8 and is available daily to the public from 10 a.m.-8 p.m.

She Creates: A Tribute to Women’s Strength

This year’s theme, “She Creates: A Tribute to Women’s Strength,” is a celebration of women’s contributions to art, culture, and society. The exhibit features more than 60 pieces of artwork by around 20 local women artists.

Supporting Women’s Empowerment

A portion of proceeds from artwork sales will directly support YWCA NENY programs and services that provide support to women and families across the region. Additionally, through March 31st, YWCA NENY will match any donation up to $7,500 sent during Women’s History Month due to a partnership with First New York Federal Credit Union.

The YWCA NENY is located at 44 Washington Ave. in Schenectady. The art exhibit is open daily from 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
