The 48th Annual Marathon Dance has kicked off at 6 p.m. at South Glens Falls High School, with a country theme this year. This annual event has become a beloved tradition in the community, with a rich history of raising funds for various organizations and families in need.

Since the first marathon dance in 1978, an impressive $11.3 million has been raised for more than 700 Glens Falls families, organizations, and surrounding communities. Last year’s dance raised a staggering $750,000, demonstrating the community’s unwavering support for this event.
