Opens Thursday at Columbia High School

Preparations are underway at Columbia High School for opening night of “Into the Woods” on Thursday, Feb. 27. At the helm of the production for a second year is stage director TJ Collins-Gutierrez.

A Bigger and Bolder Production

The show runs Feb. 27, Feb. 28, and March 1. Each performance will start at 7:00 p.m. in the Columbia High School auditorium. According to Collins-Gutierrez, about 80 students make up the cast and crew, doubling in size since last year. In 2024, the school put on a production of “Beauty of the Beast.”

A Collaborative Effort

The production is a collaborative effort between students, teachers, and staff, with dedicated students working behind the scenes to bring the show to life. From set design to costume design, lighting and sound, every aspect of the production is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the students involved.
