ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Carla Freedman, U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of New York, announced the conclusion of her tenure on Monday. She has served in the role since October 2021.

Freedman worked as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Syracuse from 2007 to 2021. She previously served as the Northern District’s deputy narcotics chief between 2016 and 2018, before being named narcotics chief from 2018 to 2021.
