“We are grateful that the buyers allowed us time to salvage and get everything out,” Young added.
Architectural Pieces Salvaged
Young also confirmed that the architectural pieces from inside the house are at Hudson Valley House Parts’ New Jersey location “and will eventually find homes where they are reused.”

Gere sold the house for $10.75 million in an off-market deal to real estate developers in October 2024. Gere and Silva initially bought their Connecticut home for $10.8 million in 2022 from legendary singer Paul Simon, who paid $16.5 million for it in 2002 with his wife, Edie Brickell.
