The NYPD released on Monday afternoon images of the perpetrator sought for the bloody attack at the Hunters Point Avenue station on the 7 line in Long Island City, near the corner of 21st Street and 49th Avenue, at about 11:05 p.m. on May 24. Law enforcement sources said the suspect approached the victim, a 26-year-old man, at the mezzanine level of the station and went on the attack, stabbing him in the stomach.
