Transfinder officials said technology plays a major role in keeping kids safe. "During our planning session, when the routers and police departments are planning the routes, they have ways of using our technology in how the bus will approach the stop," Transfinder Pres. and CEO Antonio Civitella said. "We encourage that they approach the stop in a way that the door is on the right hand side, so it eliminates as many crossings as possible."
