ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Two men from New York City are facing charges after a traffic stop in the city of Albany. Police said drugs and guns were found in the car.

Details of the Arrest

Police made a traffic stop around 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday in the area of Grant Street and Van Zandt Street. Police said Mahamadou Diambou, 22, of Brooklyn, and Micael Sedano, 21, of Bronx, were both in possession of crack cocaine and counterfeit bills. Two loaded .380 handguns were also found in the vehicle.

Charges Against the Individuals

Diambou was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, one count of criminal possession of a forged instrument, two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, and multiple traffic citations.

Sedano was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, one count of criminal possession of a forged instrument, and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Legal Proceedings

Both were arraigned and sent to the Albany County Jail.
