Police Search for Suspect in Midtown Rape

Police in Manhattan are searching for the suspect who allegedly raped a 30-year-old woman he met at a bar last month.

Incident Details

According to law enforcement sources, the pair met on October 27 just before 4 a.m. inside a bar near the corner of East 29th Street and Second Avenue in Kips Bay.

The victim and suspect then left the bar, and at one point, a source close to the investigation said, the woman became unconscious.

At that point, the suspect raped the victim, then fleeing the scene northbound in a white Chevy Malibu with tinted windows, the source said.
