For the really little ones, there&#8217;s a not-so-scary path to explore, while parents can opt for the more thrilling haunted house experience. &quot;We provide all types of opportunities so kids can have a not-so-scary experience, and then parents can come back through our haunted house and get the fright of it all,&quot; says Deborah Spiegelman, CEO of the Miami Children&#8217;s Museum.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Frightful Fun<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The haunted house is filled with a array of spooky elements, from scarecrows and skeletons to noise and activities. &quot;You&#8217;ve got to come down and see for yourself. I can&#8217;t give it all away,&quot; teases Spiegelman. The museum&#8217;s biggest fundraiser event kicks off the ghoulish month, with a variety of exhibits and activities, including a fire truck, police motorcycle, remote control boats, and an art gallery.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Supporting the Museum<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Miami Children&#8217;s Museum is a nonprofit organization, and it relies on sponsorships to provide access to its programs and exhibits. &quot;Everything from a fire truck to a police motorcycle, our art gallery, our music gallery. We have our great dinosaur exhibit, so you can come back into a prehistoric Halloween and meet the characters,&quot; says Spiegelman.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sweet Treats<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To sweeten the deal, The Salty artisan donuts is on site, offering a variety of tasty treats and goodie bags for kids. &quot;We had a beautiful table set up with donuts for goodie take-home gifts for everyone, and we had coffee flowing for caffeinating the parents,&quot; says Andres Rodriguez, owner of The Salty.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Fun Day Out<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As a parent, it can be tough to decide whether to expose your child to the scary aspects of Halloween. But with the museum&#8217;s options, there&#8217;s something for everyone. &quot;My 5-year-old son had a fun time walking through.
