Introduction to the Mango Festival
The second annual Island SPACE Mango Festival is returning in June 2025, and this time, it’s headed to Lauderdale Lakes. This fruit-forward foodie event had its inaugural staging last year at Broward Mall in Plantation, where the event’s producer, Island SPACE Caribbean Museum, is located.
What to Expect at the Festival
The event will include a variety of activities and attractions, such as:
- Tasting Station with rare and exotic mangos
- Mango Variety Snack Counter with ice cream, juice, and desserts, as well as mango-laced breads, chutneys, preserves, and more
- Mango-Inspired Marketplace & Bazaar with soaps, oils, lotions, candles, accessories, and art
There will also be Caribbean cultural storytelling, a “people’s choice” vote for best-tasting mango pollen, and workshops on topics such as “How to Grow & Graft Mango Trees,” “Juicing for Health,” “Cosmetic Uses & Health Benefits,” and “How to Cut & Present Mangoes.”
