New Food Options at Inter Miami Stadium

Must read

Introduction to New Food Options

This is “Small Bites,” a South Florida Sun Sentinel feature with tiny tidbits on the food and beverage scene — because we know that sometimes you just don’t have room for a long article. You want a little news brief instead, an amuse bouche of information, if you will. Enjoy!

What’s New at Inter Miami’s Stadium

Soccer fans can score a gourmet goal with new food and beverage venues while they cheer on Inter Miami CF at Fort Lauderdale’s Chase Stadium.
Chefs Michelle Bernstein, Bradley Kilgore and Karla Hoyos have joined the team, bringing some chic culinary concepts for elevated matchday meals.
“Our commitment to enhancing the fan experience drives us to continually innovate, focusing on variety, speed of service, and partnerships with local culinary talent,” says Laurence McMillon, Chase Stadium’s food and beverage director.

The Details

The Fan Zone now has interactive games and activities, Red Bull DJs for each home game, more rotating food trucks from local restaurants and small businesses, as well as VisioLab’s AI-based systems to make service faster.
The Northwest Club has added a 15-seat omakase bar with a 12-course dining experience created by executive stadium chef Gregg Krupin and Andrew Mayer, cofounder of Miss Crispy Rice. You get early access to the stadium for the special service, which lasts about 80 to 90 minutes.

New Venues and Collaborations

Sweet Liberty Drinks & Co. — co-owned by celeb chef Michelle Bernstein — was already in the stadium’s northeast corner, but now there is a second location in the Fan Zone. And they’ve upped the booze game by including rare bourbons and liquors. “This collaboration allows us to extend our ‘Pursuit of Happiness’ motto beyond our bar walls and into the exciting world of fútbol,” says Naren Young, creative director at Sweet Liberty. The Miami Beach hot spot has been named among the world’s best bars.

Exclusive Dining Experiences

Speaking of James Beard Award winner Bernstein, she has also curated a special dining experience for guests in the East Club field level suites with a rotating menu of dishes and two signature cocktails from Sweet Liberty.
“We are thrilled to be part of the Inter Miami CF experience at Chase Stadium,” Bernstein says. “We are all fútbol fans, and being born and raised in Miami and half-Argentine, I can’t tell you how humbled and honored I am to be part of something I consider so incredibly essential to our city.”

Mercado Food Hall and Other Additions

Chase Stadium also has added the Mercado Food Hall tent, which spotlights a revolving lineup of chefs and restaurants. First up, until the end of the season, is Tacotomía by Karla Hoyos and La Milanation.
Celia’s, a smash-burger stand, has been added to the concession offerings, this one behind the “barra brava” (or supporters section) on the north side. Celia’s is the creation of the team behind Dantes HiFi and Coyo Taco — Sven Vogtland, Alan Drummond, chef Oscar Vides and Arturo Nuñez.

Argentine Culture and Food

Giving some love to Inter Miami’s Argentine culture, the Fan Zone now has an authentic “asado” (BBQ) experience from Mr. Chory, with meat slow-cooked over a wood fire. Mr. Chory has expanded its stadium presence with three carts and three stands throughout the venue.
