Rapper Ja Rule Touts New Whiskey Brand at Casadonna Ahead of Concert at E11EVEN Miami
Ja Rule, the legendary rapper, has made a name for himself on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, and now he’s taking on the world of whiskey. On Friday, he showcased his new brand, Amber & Opal, at Casadonna in Edgewater, a trendy neighborhood in downtown Miami.
A Taste of the Good Life
Ja Rule’s whiskey, infused with honey, is sweet but not too sweet, smoky but not too smoky. "It’s got that softer taste. It’s not as aggressive," he said, speaking with Alex Miranda from the Sun Sentinel. The whiskey is available for sale in Florida, and fans can buy their own bottles from Ja Rule himself on Saturday at Total Wine & More on Miami Beach, starting at 2 p.m.
A Night to Remember
But the whiskey is just the beginning. On Saturday night, fans can catch Ja Rule in concert at E11EVEN Nightclub in downtown Miami. "It’s electric, a lot of fun, just energy," he said of his shows, which will also feature fellow famous friends like Nelly, Eve, Jermaine Dupri, Fabolous, and Chingy.

At Casadonna, Ja Rule demonstrated his signature cocktail, the Amber Rush, a twist on the gold rush. "As you can see, I don’t really make drinks and [expletive]. It’s not what I do," he said with a laugh. "Just drink ’em."

A: "I was drinking some last night, and I feel great," Ja Rule replied. "I finished a bottle last night, too, but I didn’t tell you. I feel fantastic today."
