The Holly Jolly Days Are Almost Upon Us: Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s "Lost Christmas Eve" Tour
A Holiday Tradition
Halloween may be just two days away, but we’re already counting down to something even more exciting – the holiday season! With Christmas music set to dominate our lives, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) is gearing up for their annual holiday tour, and we can’t wait.
A 20th Anniversary Celebration
This year, TSO is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the release of Paul O’Neill’s third installment of his Christmas trilogy, "The Last Christmas Eve." The rock opera is a beautifully written story about the importance of never being too late to make amends and reach out to loved ones. As Al Pitrelli explains, "I think that the folks in the audience can really relate to that sentiment in this story."
Giving Back to the Community
In the true spirit of giving, for every ticket sold, TSO will donate one dollar to charity. With over 20 million tickets sold, the band’s mission to make a difference in the world is truly remarkable. As Kayla Reeves notes, "It’s just mind-boggling. But that’s the kind of man [Paul O’Neill] was. He really wanted to make a difference in the world, and I’m really, really proud to say that he has and that we’re going to continue to carry out that legacy."
A Community-Driven Event
TSO is also grateful for the strong support they’ve received from fans over the years. Many have been attending the concerts for 14 years or more, bringing their families and friends and making it a beloved holiday tradition. As Kayla Reeves explains, "It’s just absolutely phenomenal. A lot of our fans, I’ve seen them for the past 14 years. They’ve come back, they bring their family and they bring their friends. And then we see a lot of new faces and they’ve really made this their holiday tradition. Um, like Al said, it’s about community and family. And that’s what we see from our perspective when we’re out there on that stage is people coming together for a common cause to listen to some great music."
