The Santa Ana Police Department has found a 14-year-old mother and her 6-month-old son who went missing in Orange County. The mother and son, Marilyn Perez and Misael Perez, were last seen at their home in the 400 block of South Daisy Street on Saturday morning.<\/p>\n
In an update on Sunday at 4:52 p.m., the department announced that Marilyn and Misael were safely found in the city of Stanton.<\/p>\n
Details are limited, and police did not immediately say whether the pair left home on foot or what\u2014if any\u2014their last contact was with whoever was last with them.<\/p>\n
The police department posted a missing person alert on Sunday afternoon, describing Marilyn as a 14-year-old Hispanic female who stands 5 feet and 3 inches tall and weighs about 100 lbs. In addition, the post said Marilyn has brown hair and brown eyes.<\/p>\n
Although the post did not provide the same visual details for Misael, the photo shows that the infant also appears to have brown hair and brown eyes.<\/p>\n
