Miller released \u201cJ50: The Evolution of The Joker\u201d in 2023 to commemorate the song\u2019s 50th anniversary. The box set delves into the song\u2019s production and evolution and features narration and commentary by Miller. It features 27 previously unreleased demos, live performances, studio outtakes and rehearsals from his personal archive. The band has not been honored by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but Miller was inducted as a solo artist in 2016. In a 2015 interview, Miller told Rolling Stone that he felt it was a long time coming and didn\u2019t have much to do with the process except accepting the award. \u201cIt wasn\u2019t my decision, and I didn\u2019t have any input into any of it. If they had asked me what to do, I think I would have said, \u2018Here\u2019s a list of everyone that was ever in my band. They all ought to be here,\u201d Miller said.<\/p>\n
