Crystal Lake Nightmares: 45 Years of Friday the 13th
Nightmare Events is summoning horror fans to the ultimate slasher celebration honoring 45 years of Friday the 13th. Held at the Hilton LAX, Crystal Lake Nightmares is the first-ever immersive convention dedicated entirely to the iconic franchise that birthed Jason Voorhees. Expect over 60 celebrity guests, massive themed photo ops, a fan film festival, horror trivia, a D&D-style slasher campaign, and even a world record attempt for the most Jason and Final Girl cosplayers in one place. Nisei Week Japanese Festival
Now in its 83rd year, the Nisei Week Japanese Festival returns to Little Tokyo this August, celebrating Japanese and Japanese American culture through nine days of vibrant programming. From traditional arts and cultural exhibits to community parades and live performances, the festival offers something for all ages. Highlights include the Grand Parade and a weekend of immersive exhibits at the Japanese American Cultural and Community Center.

Garden Concerts for Kids: Kymberly Stewart
