Following a delay due to recent fires and poor air quality, the L.A. Chinatown Firecracker has new dates. This 47-year-old event, one of the largest and oldest-running races in the country, will now take place on Saturday, March 8, and Sunday, March 9 at the historic Los Angeles Chinatown Plaza.

The race includes run, walk, cycling, and dog walk events throughout the weekend, starting with an opening ceremony featuring lion dancers and the lighting of 100,000 firecrackers. The event also includes a free festival with exhibitors, a beer garden, vendors, activities for children, and live entertainment.
