GoFundMe Suspends Campaign for Animal Rescue Headquarters Destroyed by Palisades Fire
The Southern California News Group (SCNG) obtained information from officials with GoFundMe stating that they have suspended a GoFundMe campaign that raised more than $19,000 for an animal rescue organization called A Wish For Animals (AWFA), following the destruction of its headquarters in the Palisades fire.
According to the GoFundMe website, the campaign, which has now been removed, aimed to collect donations for the headquarters, which was destroyed by the Palisades fire, making it the primary home-based facility of A Wish For Animals, a Southern California-based rescue organization.
