Introduction to Katy ISD’s Summer Food Program
Katy, Texas, is keeping the spirit of community and nourishment alive during the summer months. With the launch of the Katy ISD Summer Food Program on May 27, all children 18 and under can enjoy free meals, no enrollment or identification required. This initiative ensures that every child in the community stays energized and nourished throughout the summer, completely free of charge.
What’s on the Menu?
The program offers free breakfasts and lunches, served Monday through Thursday at select campuses across the district. There are no strings attached – no sign-up, paperwork, or ID needed. Whether kids are engaged in summer reading, playing at the splash pad, or enjoying the Texas sun, one thing is certain: hungry bellies don’t belong during summer break.
