The Weather Prediction Center has included most of the area under a Marginal Risk for street flooding on Sunday. That’s a level 1 out of 4 risk for flooding in our area. Locally heavy rain is possible in the afternoon creating a possibility for isolated flooding issues if a strong storm occurs over a vulnerable spot. So stay weather aware if you have outdoor plans at the end of this weekend!

Invest 91-L now has a low chance of becoming a tropical depression. Dry air is making environmental conditions in the Atlantic less favorable for any further development. Most models show this tropical wave dissipating over the next few days. It’s very far away and not a threat to Texas at this time. It could become a threat to the Lesser Antilles by the middle of next week. The peak of hurricane season is just days away, so don’t let your guard down.
