The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to help investigators locate a car they said is connected to a recent murder in Fresno.
On June 10, deputies began investigating a fatal shooting at 3503 FM 521 in Fresno, which is located about 20 miles south of Houston. Benjamin Flores, 31, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, the sheriff’s office said.
Deputies are trying to locate a blue 2011 Volkswagen Jetta they said was driven by the suspected shooter. The car appears to have a Texas license plate with a Marine Corps veteran’s emblem on its left side, according to the sheriff’s office.

“Our investigators are working tirelessly to bring justice to the victim and his family,” Fort Bend County Sheriff Eric Fagan said in a Tuesday news release. “We’re asking the public to take a close look at this vehicle and come forward with any information — no detail is too small.”
