Several new restaurants have opened in Houston, offering a range of cuisines and dining experiences. Some of the notable ones include City Cellars HTX, Remi at Hotel Granduca, Goode Co. Kitchen and Cantina, Annam, and Doko.

City Cellars HTX

City Cellars HTX is a familiar face that has returned to the Houston community after a nearly two-year hiatus. The restaurant has reopened in a new location at 2850 Riverby Road in the East River development in Fifth Ward. The new space is larger and offers a spacious patio with downtown views. The menu features globally-inspired fare, including "brunch-uterie" boards and mimosa flights. City Cellars HTX is open Monday through Wednesday from 11 am to 10 pm, Thursday from 10 am to 12 am, Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 2 am, and Sunday from 10 am to 9 pm.

Remi at Hotel Granduca

Remi is a fine dining establishment located in the newly renovated Hotel Granduca. The restaurant offers European-inspired cuisine with a Texas twist. The menu features dishes such as crispy Roman artichokes, Ora King salmon, and truffle tagliatelle. The restaurant also has a wine list of 130 selections and a reserve list of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti vintages. Remi is open daily from 7 am to 9 pm.

Goode Co. Kitchen and Cantina

The fourth outpost of Goode Co. Kitchen and Cantina has opened at 2002 W. Gray Street in the River Oaks Shopping Center. The restaurant offers favorites such as mesquite-grilled fajitas and redfish on the half shell. The anticipated Bar Buena is slated to open later this spring and will offer a tequila-forward menu. Goode Co. Kitchen and Cantina is open Monday through Thursday from 11 am to 10 pm, Friday from 11 am to 10:30 pm, Saturday from 9 am to 10:30 pm, and Sunday from 9 am to 9 pm.

Annam

Annam is a French-Vietnamese concept located in Autry Park. The restaurant is helmed by partner and chef Chris Kinjo, who is known for his sushi restaurants MF Sushi and MF Lobster & Ceviche. The menu features small plates such as Vietnamese crepes and innovative entrees like tamarind lobster. The restaurant’s design reflects the influences of France and Vietnam, with handhewn white arches and crystal chandeliers. Annam is open Friday and Saturday from 5:30 pm to 11 pm, and from 5:30 pm to 10 pm on Sundays and Tuesday through Thursday.

Doko

Doko is a sushi and yakitori restaurant located in Autry Park. The restaurant is hidden away in a quiet alley and offers an intimate atmosphere with seating for only 50 diners. The menu features traditional sushi sets and a signature six-course chef tasting menu. The restaurant also has a Japanese-inspired cocktail bar next door called Bar Doko, which offers one of the largest selections of Japanese whiskey in the state. Doko is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 am to 10 pm and Friday and Saturday from 11 am to 11 pm.
