Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack Foundation Softball Classic and Home Run Derby: A Fun-Filled Event for a Good Cause
The third annual Cactus Jack Foundation Softball Classic and Home Run Derby is just around the corner, and it’s going to be a swingin’ good time! The event is set to take place on February 13 at Daikin Park, and Travis Scott, also known as La Flame, is bringing together a star-studded lineup of celebrities and sports icons for a softball free-for-all to benefit a great cause.
A Good Cause
The event is raising money for the Waymon Webster Scholarship Fund, which provides financial support to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) seniors for their final tuition fees, allowing them to graduate and receive their diplomas. Scott’s Cactus Jack Foundation and the Webster Family will also be hosting a HBCU Student Scholar Ceremony, honoring Scott’s late grandfather Waymon Webster and his family’s multigenerational HBCU lineage.

Last year’s MVP of the Classic, Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud, is set to return, along with veteran second baseman Robinson Canó, who took the top spot in the Home Run Derby. Other baseball legends joining the lineup include Barry Bonds, Reggie Jackson, Jeff Bagwell, Manny Ramirez, Prince Fielder, and Ryan Howard.

The Cactus Jack Foundation Community Action Week, featuring community-based events around Houston, will kick off on February 11. The event will include exclusive Cactus Jack merchandise, giveaways, autographed memorabilia, prizes, and raffles, as well as the Second Annual Cactus Jack Social Impact Village. This interactive hub will host over 20 community and civic organizations, offering on-site resources for event guests. A silent auction with music and sports memorabilia will also be part of the event.
