New York, NY – Lawsuits Filed Against Sean "Diddy" Combs

Houston Attorney Tony Buzbee has announced that he has filed lawsuits on behalf of seven additional alleged victims of Sean "Diddy" Combs, bringing the total number of people he is representing to over 120. The lawsuits were filed in New York State Court, alleging sexual battery, sexual assault, and sexual exploitation against Combs.

In an Instagram post, Buzbee said that the cases were filed in New York State Court, alleging sexual battery, sexual assault, and sexual exploitation against Combs. Several other defendants are also named in the lawsuits, according to Buzbee.

Buzbee is representing more than 120 individuals who allege they were victimized by Combs. Since October 2024, Buzbee has filed lawsuits on behalf of dozens of people and said the lawsuits are not part of a class action but will be pursued individually, with each case filed based on its own merits.

Combs has been in a Brooklyn jail since his September arrest on racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges. He is currently awaiting trial for the charges.

Buzbee says the cases filed this week are for conduct that allegedly occurred as far back as 1999 to as recently as 2022. "The egregious conduct alleged in these filings occurred in Los Angeles, Miami, and New York City. Three of the plaintiffs are male, and four of the plaintiffs are female. One of the victims was only 15 at the time of the alleged exploitation," Buzbee said.

Buzbee says they expect to continue filing additional cases against Combs and other defendants. "We continue to field many calls daily from alleged victims and potential witnesses. We have been assisted in this regard by colleagues in both New York and LA. If you believe you were victimized, or if you have pertinent evidence, we encourage you to reach out," Buzbee says.

Combs is not the only high-profile defendant that has been named in lawsuits filed by Buzbee. A lawsuit which was originally filed in October was refiled in December naming rapper Jay-Z as a defendant in a lawsuit where he was accused of raping a 13-year-old girl along with Combs in 2000.

Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, has denied the allegations and accused Buzbee of trying to blackmail him and filing a false complaint against him for money and fame.

On Friday, the civil lawsuit filed by an unidentified Alabama woman was withdrawn, according to the Associated Press.
