One person was killed after being involved in an argument in Fort Worth on Friday, according to police.<\/p>\n
Officers were dispatched to the 11200 block of Golden Triangle Circle regarding an \u201cinvestigation call,\u201d a news release from Fort Worth police said. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a \u201cvictim with a wound to his chest\/torso.\u201d<\/p>\n
The victim, who has not yet been publicly identified, died at the scene, police said.<\/p>\n
Detectives discovered that the victim and the suspect had an argument prior to the shooting that was \u201csettled down by witnesses,\u201d police said. Police did not say what the dispute was about.<\/p>\n
The suspect then retrieved a weapon \u2014 believed to be a type of rifle \u2014 from a vehicle, returned to the group and shot the victim at least one time in their chest\/torso, police said.<\/p>\n
Witnesses called 911, police said. However, the suspect, whom police did not identify, fled before officers arrived.<\/p>\n
