But they missed their last four shots before halftime, then 11 of 13 out of the break. There was a more than five-minute gap between jumpers by Flemings while TCU got within two points.<\/p>\n<h2>The Game&#8217;s Turning Point<\/h2>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Flemings, who had his ninth 20-point game and matched his second highest-scoring game, was coming off 42 points in a 90-86 loss at now-No. 11 Texas Tech on Saturday that ended the Cougars\u2019 16-game winning streak in true road games, which was a Big 12 and school record. Houston had also won 11 in a row overall.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">The Cougars finished shooting 44.4% overall (25 of 54) after they made 16 of 22 to start the game.<\/p>\n<h2>TCU&#8217;s Performance<\/h2>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Xavier Edmonds had 18 points and 10 rebounds for TCU (13-8, 3-5).
