A 12,957-square-foot mansion at 6601 Hunters Glen Road, ranked recently as the most expensive home in Texas, has been sold for $30.5 million, according to Alex Perry of Allie Beth Allman & Associates.<\/p>\n
Perry, who handled the listing, said the property had originally been listed for $35 million.<\/p>\n
The property was initially listed on Oct. 31 and was on the market for less than two months before being sold, Perry said.<\/p>\n
The home was built in 1927, and it is a nearly 2-acre property with five bedrooms, six bathrooms and three half bathrooms.<\/p>\n
It was previously owned by a trust headed by Joshua Pack, the Fortress Investment Group co-CEO. Pack died in September at the age of 51.<\/p>\n
The buyer was a local family, said Perry, who declined to publicly identify the buyer.<\/p>\n
