One person suffered non-life-threatening injuries after a shooting Saturday at Fort Worth\u2019s Hulen Mall, Fort Worth Fire Department said in an email on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Fort Worth police are investigating the shooting that occurred Saturday afternoon in the 4700 block of South Hulen Street, according to a social media post.<\/p>\n
At about 2 p.m., officers were called to the scene, and on arriving, they were directed to a grassy area outside the mall between Macy\u2019s and Red Robin, where they found a man with a gunshot wound to one of his legs, according to a news release from Fort Worth police. <\/p>\n
Police said an off-duty officer from an outside agency was already with the victim, along with an off-duty emergency medical personnel. <\/p>\n
Minutes later, the Fort Worth fire crews and emergency medical personnel arrived and provided medical attention to the victim, the release said.<\/p>\n
Investigators said the victim was outside walking toward the location when another man shot him. <\/p>\n
\u201cWe can share that both the victim and the suspect in this case are adult males, and it is believed that they know each other,\u201d the release said. <\/p>\n
The victim was taken to a local hospital, police said.<\/p>\n
\u201cPatrol officers along with our Directed Response Unit are working on the identity of the suspect,\u201d the release said. <\/p>\n
