LOS ANGELES \u2014 Anthony Davis is set to make his return to the Dallas Mavericks lineup against the Los Angeles Lakers, a person with knowledge of the team\u2019s thinking confirmed to The Dallas Morning News.<\/p>\n
Davis cleared his final benchmark of his recovery from a left calf strain on Friday by completing the team\u2019s shootaround at UCLA. He is expected to be on a minutes restriction, according to NBA insider Mark Stein.<\/p>\n
The 10-time All-Star has been out of the lineup since suffering a left calf strain against the Indiana Pacers on Oct. 29.<\/p>\n
Davis participated in a full practice Wednesday for the first time since his injury and was listed as questionable for Friday\u2019s game at Crypto.com Arena, where he hasn\u2019t played since the Mavericks acquired him and Max Christie in February.<\/p>\n
Christie played in Los Angeles during the Mavericks and Lakers\u2019 first matchup post-trade, so he didn\u2019t place any significance on returning to the place where he spent the first 2 1\/2 seasons of his career.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s the same,\u201d Christie said. \u201cI was here last year, too. I\u2019m a Maverick so I\u2019m not really thinking about it like that. It\u2019s just another game. It feels good. It\u2019s cool to be back. Just another game.\u201d<\/p>\n
