\u201cIt\u2019s a full house,\u201d owner Michael Chen said while taking a break from the lunch rush. \u201cI\u2019m so happy.\u201d<\/p>\n
Chen opened Kirin Court in Richardson in 2005 and it\u2019s become one of North Texas\u2019 most recognized destinations for authentic Chinese dining.<\/p>\n

Plans to open a second location only recently took shape when the right piece of real estate opened up, and when Chen realized how many of his customers kept asking him to bring his dim sum further north.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere are so many people moving to the north like Anna and McKinney,\u201d he said. \u201cI am really confident because we are already so busy.\u201d<\/p>\n
Everything about the new restaurant is the same as in Richardson, Chen said, except the Plano location is a little larger and will be open an hour later.<\/p>\n
Diners can expect the same steaming baskets of dim sum, rolled through the sprawling dining room on metal carts.<\/p>\n
The grand opening will be celebrated Nov. 29 at 11 a.m. with a lion dance.<\/p>\n
Kirin Court opened Nov. 25 at 1301 Custer Rd. #850, Plano. It is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.<\/p>\n
