A teenager is facing a murder charge in connection to a January fatal shooting at an apartment complex, Arlington police said.<\/p>\n
On Jan. 13, officers said they responded to reports of a shooting at the 2400 block of Laurelwood Drive and found Zacchaeus Selby-Mukum lying in the parking lot with a gunshot wound. The 19-year-old, who was also one of those injured in the 2021 shooting at Mansfield-Timberview High School, later died at a local hospital.<\/p>\n
On Tuesday, police said the U.S. Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force found 17-year-old Joshua Robinson in Fort Worth and took him into custody without incident.<\/p>\n
Robinson was being held at the Arlington jail as of Tuesday, according to police. It\u2019s not immediately clear if he has an attorney.<\/p>\n

Selby-Mukum had arranged to meet with a potential buyer the evening of his death to sell a handgun, and police said they determined Robinson was the customer.<\/p>\n
Police said Selby-Mukum could be seen on surveillance cameras approaching a Nissan Altima. Shortly after, the driver exited the vehicle and moved in the direction where the victim would later be found shot, according to the news release.<\/p>\n
Police said witnesses identified Robinson as the driver, and that there was also a phone record of him placing a call to Selby-Mukum just prior to the vehicle entering the complex.<\/p>\n
