Rescue crews responded to a drowning call at West Bay Marina in the 6900 block of Liberty School Tap Road near Azle at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, authorities said in the statement.

When they arrived, they found two people performing CPR on the young girl who was on the ground after being pulled from the lake. It was not immediately clear if the two people, described as good Samaritans, knew the victim.
