Micah Parsons’ Trade Request
OXNARD, Calif. — Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb said Friday he’s disappointed that pass rusher Micah Parsons requested a trade.
Lamb said he’s not upset with Parsons’ trade request, which he made a week ago, but more with the process.
“I feel like he’s going to be here,” Lamb said. “Reaction was crazy, a little disappointing, but I mean it is what it is when you got to do what you got to do. You have to do what’s best for him and his family.”
Parsons’ Trade Request Explained
Last Friday, Parsons requested a trade that team owner Jerry Jones characterized as a negotiating ploy.
Parsons hasn’t attended the last two practice sessions because he’s getting rehab work for a tight back. Coach Brian Schottenheimer said Parsons is day-to-day with his back issue.
Current Status of Parsons’ Injury
On Friday morning, Parsons did rehab work as the team was conducting a walkthrough practice.
“Got some work done on his back yesterday and I think it’s going good,” Schottenheimer said. “He was doing some of the stuff in the mock last night so it’s always good to see him moving around and I think its going well.”
