(October 7, 2025) Dallas Water Utilities (DWU) will begin distributing annual notifications on the Lead and Copper Service Line Inventory to DWU customers, in compliance with the yearly notification requirement of the United States Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) Lead and Copper Rule (LCR). The notifications will be mailed starting in early October through November 2025 to approximately 225,000 customers whose service line materials are currently listed as “unknown” in the utility’s inventory.
