Introduction to College Football Week 1
The long wait has ended. Week 1 of college football has arrived, and The Dallas Morning News’ panel of college football experts will once again gather to make predictions for the biggest games each week all season long. The group consists of DMN writers and editors, as well as other experts from around the Metroplex in TV and radio. It will predict 20 games every week — both straight up and against the spread.
The games we will pick each week include the top local matchups and some of the best matchups around the country. This week is one of the more action-packed opening weeks in quite some time, as Texas visits Ohio State, Auburn takes on Baylor in Waco, and LSU visits Clemson.
