Hudson House Expands to Frisco
Hudson House is adding to its fleet of restaurants with a new location in Frisco, set to open on Aug. 6. The restaurant will be replacing a Twin Peaks that closed last year. Hudson House, a New England-inspired restaurant, is the fastest-growing restaurant from Vandelay Hospitality Group, which is based in University Park.
About Hudson House
The Frisco location would be the ninth Hudson House restaurant and the seventh in North Texas. It’s also the 21st restaurant in the Vandelay portfolio, according to the news release. The restaurant group also owns and operates other restaurants in the Dallas area such as D.L. Mack’s, Anchor Sushi Bar, Slider & Blues and Jack & Harry’s, which opened in March of last year.

Hudson House’s menu features a variety of East Coast-inspired dishes such as a seafood tower, lobster rolls, chowder and a chicken parm. The lunch-and-dinner spot features a mix of classic American eats with an East Coast influence. On weekdays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. the happy hour deal boasts half-priced martinis, $3 oysters and $5 cheeseburgers.

The first Hudson House debuted in Highland Park in 2017 and it has since expanded throughout D-FW with locations in Addison, Fort Worth and Irving in addition to the Dallas neighborhoods of Lakewood and Preston Hollow. Houston is also home to two locations in River Oaks and Rice Village. Another location is planned for Dallas’ West Village.
