Irving-based convenience store giant 7-Eleven is celebrating its birthday once again on Friday, July 11, with a free Slurpee offer. 7-Eleven Day, also dubbed Slurpee Day, is an annual tradition that takes place on the calendar day that translates to the company’s name. The icy sweet treat is the traditional freebie offered by the retailer on July 11.
Customers can pick up a small Slurpee drink for free at 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes across the U.S. come Friday while supplies last.
7-Eleven is offering more perks this year, including:
- The company’s loyalty members can get a coupon for a second free Slurpee. Loyalty members must scan their rewards information on July 11, and the second Slurpee must be redeemed by July 31.
- Using the 7Now Delivery app, customers can get $7.11 off orders of $20 or more using the code 711DAY.
- 7-Eleven will offer “tongue-toos” at stores in Dallas-Fort Worth. The temporary tattoos, which can be applied to tongues, are meant to look like the signature mark left behind by Slurpees.
