Officials said a teen boy died Monday after he apparently drowned in the water at Town Lake Park.
The unidentified teen was found and pronounced dead at the scene after emergency crews were called to the Prosper site at 3:30 p.m. Monday after receiving reports of a possible drowning, a town spokesperson confirmed.
The Prosper Fire Department and the Prosper Police Department responded to the water rescue call near the park on 901 Woodview Drive, officials said.
The Lewisville Fire Department and Frisco‘s police and fire departments were also called to help with rescue efforts.
