FORT WORTH — A 19-year-old boy was killed early Sunday morning after he was shot multiple times, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner Office.

Anthony Rangal died Sunday at John Peter Smith Hospital from gunshot wounds to his torso and forearm, according to medical examiner records.

Rangal was shot at a home in the 3700 block of N. Houston Street around 12:30 a.m. There had been a party at the home when the shooting occurred, Fort Worth police previously said.

Two people were taken to a hospital, where one, later known to be Rangal, died from injuries, the release says.

A third person who was hurt was transported by a private vehicle to a hospital. That person is expected to survive, police said.

The person suspected of shooting the three people fled the location in a vehicle, police said. No arrests have been reported as of Monday.

This shooting was one of the four fatal shootings that happened in Fort Worth this Father’s Day Weekend.

Around 3:30 a.m., there was another shooting at the 3000 block of Conejos Drive where authorities found a victim suffering from “multiple gunshot wounds to his chest/torso,” police said.
